As a diehard fan who has had an '80, 81' 2+2, 83, 84 luxury edition, and 86, I have to tell you they make 'em better now. The 300ZX was revolutionary in it's appointments and electronics. There was hardly a car out on the planet that had more sci-fi like gadgets, however all the 280ZX's I had turned into rustbuckets. I had two of them done over more than twice becuase of the cancerous rust. The Japanese got wise and stopped using melted scrap to make the thin panels on these cars.
