First Lady Michelle Obama joined Corporation for National and Community Service CEO Patrick Corvington to launch the United We Serve: Let's Read. Let's Move. initiative at a Congressional service project in Washington D.C. Four federal agencies have joined the Corporation in the summer initiative, which will combat childhood obesity and summer reading loss by engaging youth in summer reading and physical activity, as well as by providing access to healthy, affordable food.
