MAC Style Black Collection Preview Review

Stuff I Bought!! Just when I was getting my fill of NYC, Fashion's Night Out pulls me back in. MAC stores over the city was pre-selling the Style Black collection. It started at 6pm, and they were already about to sell out of things by 6:20!

I forgot to mention: the greasepaint stick is pretty long lasting, at least that's what they tell me. It goes on smoothly, too. It's a keeper. If you don't like the purple undertone, another collection is coming out with a pure black version soon, I think.

Don't be afraid of color!!!

An extra thought: I think I've figured out a way to work with the black cremesheen lipstick: put a light layer down first (its not a heavy, full coverage lipstick, like in the promo pics - you have to build it up to get it that black) and then put a glittery red gloss on top. I'm waiting for the new glosses to come out this month, because I know the red one would look awesome on top, especially during the holiday parties. I think if you keep the eyes simple, like a light, cream colored, subtle eye, then dark lips would be gorgeous.

The black mattene lipstick on the other hand...hmmm. I gotta work with that one.
