Monster Bluegill on a Dry Fly!

I have caught 10-15 pound bluegill in Colorado. That tiny thing is nothing.

@gcollin75 I know right! I hook 28 pounders sometimes in the creek behind my house. My record is a 35 pounder caught deep-sea fishing. That was nuts. come on now...

@Fishingallday31 as far as i know bluegill can't live in brackish water. And the biggest bluegill ever caught was 5lbs 7oz Caught by Amos Gray in 1998, somewhere in SC. I could not weigh the one I caught because the line snapped while pulling it out of the water. It was brand new 15 pound test. And the knot was flawless.

biggest bluegill i ever caught was about 7 and a half inches. i keep him in my pond. last time i measured him he was 9 inches flat.
