Dr. Death Steve Williams *R.I.P* delievers his signature back drop driver, but drops the back of his opponents head into the top turnbuckle. I believe he hits it on Kenta Kobashi

  • Vince brought him in to be fed to Steve Austin, who said no fuckin way I'm working with him!

  • @GrandFunker no he didn't. Yes they brought in Williams to be brought to the main event, and they created the Brawl for All, thinking Williams would easily win it, to build him up. Once Bart Gunn knocked him out though, it killed his planned main event push. Kinda hard to make a guy that was knocked out by half of the Midnight Express ripoff a credible threat to the WWF Champion.

  • @austin2090 Well that's what I read on more than one dirt sheet when they first brought him in. You're definitely right about Bart Gunn though.

  • @GrandFunker See I've heard of Austin refushing to work with Jarrett, but never Williams. Like I said, his lost to Gunn in Brawl for All killed his push, not Austin.

  • @austin2090 Who knows? Maybe we're both right. I'm sure they could've done something different with him if he hadn't lost. If he'd not been knocked out by Gunn, I wonder how bad he would have fared against Butterbean at Mania. Any idea which Butterbean fight lasted longer? The one against Gunn, or the one he had against Johnny Knoxville in the dept store? Jackass the movie(or was it #2)

  • @GrandFunker It ws the first Jackass. I looked at both clips. I could only find a high light clip of WM XV, but Cole says, 27 seconds to go, and Gunn goes down a couple seconds later, so like 33-35 second for Bart, with Knoxville being around the same, around 33 from when they ring the bell, to when he hits the floor the last time.

  • Well, according to the tights, it must be Kenta Kobashi.

  • For this reason called Dr. Death.

  • @austin2090 You're both right and wrong. To be honest Williams wasn't in his prime anymore when he was brought in for Brawl For All, he only had a year or so left as an effective wrestler and his injury from Bart Gunn was a damned unlucky break, and don't under-rate Gunn. Brawl For All was a legitimate in-house Toughman contest, and though Mike Barton didn't have the charisma to be a main event wrestler he was plenty tough (though not as tough as Butterbean)

  • now ive pulled off some cool suicidal turnbuckle slams but that was fucking sick

  • @austin209That's bad ass...thanks dude
