Sorry, I just saw your post now. It goes to my gmail which I never remember I have, so I didn't know about your question. It seems you can't renew it, but they don't tell you that. They just let you think you have.
By the way, Skype says you can do up to ten people. You can, but the quality is no good. Four only.

We are doing dog training classes on Group Skype. Works pretty good. 30 day free trial...and you just renew it (free) when it runs out. We had 5 people last time, but will be doing larger groups.

@vikidobe the new version of Skype 5.0.0.152 enables video conferencing but you only get it for free for 30-day trial. I don't know how much you pay if you wish to continue.

anyone know how to make a Skype video conference call? Three people. We can't figure it out. Tks.

Yeah, everyone wants to be able to do this, but Skype doesn't offer multi-user video chat.
iChat does for up to 4 people but they would all need to be Mac users.
ooVoo offers multi-user video chat but it's not free, making it impractical.
If anyone knows of a good solution, please tell.

hey great advice. could you tell me how i can get a group of people together on a video call. i am starting a new business and want to have weekly meetings from different cities and i want to use small white boards to demonstrate something for everyone to see together. is this possible through skype or do i have to download another program to be compatible with skype or another program altogether. thanx for your time.
