  • Tip for DIY'ers,...

Never use Flat paint on an Exterior. NEVER !!!

  • i have been painting for 28 years and it still amazes me why people tape windows if your brushing the trim.thats why i wish amatuers would leave it to a professional! ihave never seen a paint contractor paint siding with a dam roller! again leave it to PROFESSIONALS TO PAINT YOUR HOUSE! SPRAY IT AND USE A DAM SHEILD!

  • It should only be necessary to cover the windows completely if your spraying, waist of time

  • @MrHammer80 Im a painter, and this is not how its done...

  • WTF??? hahaha taping and covering the whole window just for brushing??

  • in my 25 years of house painting I never needed a rope,I never needed hot dog rollers to paint siding, and that brand new werner ladder is nice. You don't need masking tape unless you are spraying!Any paint that is not colored yellow or red, resists fading.Do you know about flashing?you are doing a text book mistake on your brushing technics, you are an uninformed actor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrHammer80 i have often thought that when watching these american videos

  • @ch1vasdecorazon How can you say that brushing looks better that spraying?? If you know how to spray, you will have a smooth, uniform finish vs. a brushed marked paint job. I can almost guarantee that your company is one of those that promote the "all jobs done by hand" technique. Did you mention to your customers that you also charge more for painting everything by hand??

  • Why did you prime if you are using Valspar Duramax?? It's a self priming paint. Why didn't you putty the nail holes?? I can guarantee you that one person would take over a month to paint 2 coats on that house with brush and roller. I say spray the house with a Graco sprayer.
