  • LA PERFEZIONE ASSOLUTA !!!

    SUBLIMI ENTRAMBI !!!

  • I PREFER MARTON.....NILSSON WAS SUCHA ABD ACTRESS !!!!!!!

  • This must be the best In Questa from Birgit I have ever heard - including the 59 studio recording. But that is more because of Leinsdorf being a little boring and Stokowski being awesome as usual.

  • WOW! Here is the explanation of why she was the best Turandot. Ever!

This is absolutely, amazingly perfect. She isn´t afraid of the high notes, at all. She attacks and sings them as it was the simpliest thing in the world. Listen to the high b at 3:35. And the part from 4:27 where all the today sopranos struggle, especially with the second b in this part, La Nilsson just sing it, without any fear. And not to mention the high c at the end... Imagine the curtain call after that performance. WOW!
