Cedar Point welcomes their third water ride with the opening of Shoot The Rapids on Opening Day 2010. The $10.5 million dollar Intamin AG manufactured family water ride features two drops both at 45 degrees, the first standing 85 feet, and the second at 49 feet. With a total length of 2100 feet, the ride has a capacity of 1200 riders per hour, and will use 728,000 gallons of chlorinated water.

  • at first i was scared then i was happy then i almost peed on my self then i cried then i was like lets go again

  • They tore down the log flume ride for this one. That makes me sad because the old one had little cars, just about 5 seats or so. It was nice with just the family.
