@lizleilanrob2007 Queen was the cemestry of the 4 fabs in the band. No-one was the leader. Actually Freddie joined Brian and Roger when their singer left 'Smile'. Freddie came with the idea to change the name in 'Queen'. John also wrote songs. And big hits. "You're My Best Friend', 'Spread Your Wings', 'Another One Bites The Dust', 'I Want To Break Free' are all Deaconcompositions. John also made the "Under Pressure'riff.

@Anna27051962 Freddie was NOT the leader of Queen. All four members had their input and no-one was considdered as a leader. Yes, he was the frontman of the band, but that is not the same as leader. Band is called 'Queen' and not 'The Queen'. And besides of your rusty English (which is forgivable because a lot of people on Youtube don't have English as theid 1st language), the content of your post doesn't make sense at all.

@jamzal I'm sorry you don't know all of Queen and Freddie Mercury. He was self declared bi-sexual and had also relations with women after Mary Austin. Have you ever read HIS biography and watched all interviews? I think you overreact a little in this. But once again, what does it matter? Gay, bi, straight, for me it is all the same. But I think you should inform yourself more of Freddie.

@queenandi I'm tired of the amount of fools who insist he was bi. Of course his sexuality doesn't matter but it seems the crowd with slight homophobic inclinations seeming want him to not be a full blown queer. But the truth of the matter is that he was gay. Have you even read a biography? Dating a woman or two does not equate heterosexuality. He left Mary Austin because he was gay and then fully immersed himself in the gay lifestyle. Ignorance irks me.

@jamzal Actually he was bi-sexual, but was does his sexual preference matter?? He was, he is and he'll always be the GREATEST entertainer of all time!! Freddie was one of a kind, like Chopin, Mozart and the world will in 35 years celebrate his 100th birthday, like they will celebrate in 135 years his 200th birthday. He brought a little light to this world. That's his importance!! Not his sexual preference.
