What album is this on?

Never heard it before but it's wonderful early 90s pop with a fast beat and a nice mix of notes without being heavy on bass which was all too common then.

Who did the background vocals?

This song came from the 1994 Polydor single "It's My Style" that was only released in Japan in the 3" CD format. There are only 2 tracks on the CD, the other is "It's My Style (Karaoke)". All the writing on the CD pack is in Japanese, which I can't read. So, unfortunately, I can't tell you who did the background vocals. This song was destined to be on Cathy's Inspiration album (along with S.O.S. and Love's A Cradle) which was shelved for some unknown reason and has never been released.

Sadly, the Inspiration album will probably never be released. My copies of "It's My Style" and "Love's A Cradle" were bought from eil-dot-com which sometimes has one in stock. "S.O.S." came from Beverly Hills 90210: College Years soundtrack CD which is very cheap used from sites like amazon. "Love's A Cradle" is on imeem-dot-com with an itunes download. I've not found "It's My Style" or "S.O.S." as downloads but you might find them in a torrent somewhere, but I don't promote using them.

That album release date keeps slipping. First it was spring 2008, then by summer, then by the end of 2008. Still no album. The video for the first single (Killer Love) is reportedly ready for release. I wonder what is holding things up ??

Our Cathy left because, let's be honest, people care more about the spineless, moribund lifeless techno she writes for her lower subordinates that couldn't exist without her. Someone cut off their lifeline now and they can run out of air, choke and die. When Cathy's last ablum was released in 1996, it was actually her best, but no one cares and still doesn't in the record industry,

In other words, she's very much here, but not in an artist vein, just a writer. Sad unless you love Kylie etc.
