I hear alot of elliott smith in your voice, I think you would do well to focus on finding confidence in your voice. I give you big props for being young and enjoying the real blues though. Just get yourself a twelve string and don't be afraid to let the soul come out of your natural voice.

@sleazyoldgranddad I bought a 12 string not long ago great for playing Leadbelly! My voice on the other hand is far to weak for blues unfortunately. Every time i sing my sister says "stop trying to sound like Elliott Smith" thing is i don't try to at all its just the way it comes out after years of listening to Elliott. Thanks for your comment and advice.
