he's not really on the defensive....if you listen to the original you end up with a taste of "something is missing in this song"...of course! the "boy's version" of the song. when he says "you need to stop listen to your friends and trust your man" he does make a point :-)
Beyonce made the song with her message, R kelly just bring his message to this song which now make it a nice women vs men song lol....
