At a January 6, 2010 State House Press Conference in Trenton, the Citizens' Campaign called on citizens to take center stage, and provide the leadership in the fight to combat property tax increases.
Harry Pozycki, Chair of the Citizens' Campaign, with Tom Byrne Jr., Co-Chair of the new Local Government Cost-Cutting Initiative and Chair of the New Jersey Tax and Fiscal Policy Study Commission announce a menu of 10 ready for adoption model proposals which citizens can present for adoption on the local level to tackle the property tax crisis by reducing costs in municipal government.
Sounds like a great way to learn how to participate and be supportive of good decisions.
