its a cover version. with own interpretation and own point of view. its not meant to be an exact copy of the original. if there are parts where he/she wants to improvise, its fine. that doesnt automatically mean its bad because its different from the original. wow, youre really close minded. and this as an aphex twin fan.

you can't imagine how sceptical i was when i saw the title to this video, but you got it spot on and turned my mood right around. a very excellent rendition of the afx masterpiece on guitar (and i'm a guitarist). thanks for the upload!

@phantomdoodler Yeah I heard the exact same advert. Very strange but very nice in a way to say I know who did the song originally.

well basically i was watching tv the other day and during the adverts my ear caught a melody and chord arrangment that i recognised. It was during a most recent johnsons baby advert and in the background is a piano arrangement of girl/boy song from the Richard D James album. Its really odd, being a big Richard James fan to hear stuff like that as although its a beautiful song and fits well its not something i expected. Definately is girl/boy song tho

I hope they don't try to skip out on paying royalties like NBC apparently did when they used Avril 14th on SNL last year.
