This is my final year B.Eng(Hons) Electrical & Electronic Engineering project at University of East London - 2008/09. The circuit was made by me and the belt set up was provided by university. The aim of the project was to move the belt in either direction and up to the distance desired by the user using feedback control system. Finally, the project was successful.

  • hi... Iam in my final year btech EEE.,& I am interested in this project...It would b very helpful for me if you would send the required details & circuit to farhan_khushbu@yahoo.co.in

  • @faru4you hi...i am really sorry but i had all my files in my university account which is now closed as i m no more their student, dat was back in 2009, so i dont have any thing left wid me now.

  • Dude this is cool. But i think you could have done the same job without using a single sensor just by replacing the motor with a stepper motor. Anyway thanks a lot for sharing the idea.

  • @ewisuru ... ya dats rite mate...i had considered dat aswell but stepper motor is bit expensive so i made it cost effective. but i did mention about all other options in my final report

  • i'm just wondering how to put that in the real world service,,, in support of ur documentation..!!

Thank You and Good Luck :)

  • well... in real world, the concept of the project i.e. the position control of belt(actually control of motor) and the use of position sensor could be put on a larger scale in industries using heavy electric motors, and whatever the requirement is.
