The intro scene in the movie "The Rock". I love the background music so much, I love the whole movie. But this is one of my favorite scenes.

  • why cant michael bay make more movies like this again?

  • The thing with this movie is that Hummel, who's supposed to be the bad guy, is the one you truly understands. Somehow u know that he's a good man.

Ed Harris does an outstanding character

  • @Fallschirmjaeger963 Because when a US Marine dies, even the heavens weep.

  • Why is everyone talking about Michael Bay all the time when they think about this movie? I would want to give a handshake to Jerry Bruckheimer instead cause he weren't the most famous person before this movie but he have truly made a awesome job since he worked on this movie. And he did a awesome job in this movie.Yeah he did some awesome movies before this to, like Top Gun, But as everyone else i have to say that this is a truly amazing movie intro.

  • I can't believe this was a Michael Bay-movie. One of the best action movies made.

  • @zidaneee12345 because now he likes to make films for children

  • Song is "hummel gets the rockets" by hans zimmer.

  • What is the name of the music.

  • Svensk Text!

  • Ah yes..Micahel Bay back when his films were actually good.

  • @jim0watkins The movie is not based off revenge for what happened in Vietnam. If you don't believe me, watch the movie and pay attention in the scene where General Hummel speaks about the terms of the ransom he wants with the people at the pentagon. He goes into detail about what happened to a bunch of his men during an operation in Desert Storm. Sure, like any General he's fought in more than one war and probably bitter from everything, but that is neither here nor there during the film.
