Oh wait . . . Personally, I have no interest in pressing a magic button which would erase people's belief in God, what they believe is none of my business. @MsPandaRosa A couple of problems with you thesis: a billion Muslims are not terrorists, the biggest threat to a fundamentalist Muslim is not America, it's another kind of Muslim. The people of Kurdistan are the most secular, tolerant and democratic people in the middle-east, and they are not just Muslim, they are the same kind of Muslim as Al Qaeda; Sunni. To be a Muslim is NOT to automatically support terrorism. To be a Catholic is to be a part of a wall of protection. Cont.

There;s also a billion Muslims who would like nothing more than to raze the place, plus no shortage of Fundie Protestants who think Vatican=Taliban. And of course all intelligent people are atheists, they'd defend the action in a New York minute.

Basically, remove the physical manifestation of a God you don't believe in, and all the sheeple will run around crying like headless chickens (this is getting good).

@MsPandaRosa How the hell are we supposed to do that when there are over a billion catholics worldwide, and the pope has his own seat at the UN? We are a few hundred thousand protestors scattered worldwide WITHOUT the law on our side. The best we can do is tell the truth. As for "destroying the metaphysical", I presume you're talking about "God", I never believed it existed in the first place.

All I am asking is for you and your brethren is to take the Vatican down, pull it apart, brick by brick. No one will stop you, the demolition of St Peters, symbol of everything that is wrong, will go a long way to establishing the need for change.

Do it. Take the Church apart. Destroy the physical to fix the metaphysical.

You respect the Catholic church, the organization which founded the African slave trade, aided Hitler and Mussolini, denied the holocaust, persecutes homosexuals, lies to Africans about condoms, protects the bishops wanted for their role in the Rwandan genocide in 1994 and has been systematically raping children on a global scale for decades if not centuries. Sure, what's not to respect?
