almost everything your playing in legato form is actually alternate picked. not that your not playing the right notes but, it becomes much harder when you do it the other way.

@deviltriggerinc Yeah, alot of the fast stuff I play, I play with legato. Well this is a pretty old video so I think I probably could do better now. I dunno. :)

good vid man, it sounds a little dirty but even John Petrucci plays dirty... the fact is, when you play with the pentatonic scale it sounds pretty AWESOME! i just loved that part haha

@wannabeserpento99 Legato is when you play for example 12 15 17 on the 6th string just using hammer ons, but you hit the first of the 3 notes with your pick. In that case its much easier playing fast licks instead of picking all those notes
