This is the first uilleannpiper I see who realy uses the regulators throughout the whole tune rather than to use them for short beats.
Great instrument, great performance!

Mick you gave me your CD An Ancient Voice of Ireland and I play it every day in the car since I left for the shores for Americay. Thank you so much and God Bless

@MacHendrik Eugene Lamb does that very well too.
Mighty tunes!

Awesome piper

@MacHendrik There are plenty more. Or, at least, there were. Leo Rowsome did that a lot. On his album King of the Pipers, there is a set with Jenny's Wedding & Lord McDonald, with some absolutely mind-blowing regulator work, very varied, with both short beats and longer chordal playing.

Brilliant musician. I've met him a few times and you couldn't meet a nicer bloke. A real gentleman.

He never talks about it, he's so modest too if you ever ask him after class he allways plays it down :P

You're a lucky lad to have such a talented teacher! Have him play Freebird for you some time ;)

I wasn't there no. I was watching TV in California at that time. I found this on the Parisian Uilleann Pipers Club website. Their site now seems out of business so I thought I'd continue the tradition and post it here.
