Okay, okay: it's not a beetle commercial. But it's volkswagen, it's aircooled and it's classic. Agree?
From the DVD 'Legend on wheels'. Wanna have this DVD packed with 2 hours of high quality digitally remastered old vw commercials? The DVD really brings you back to the '60s and '70s. Send an email to: beetlejuice150@hotmail.com
vw did make the 1500 with dual carbs and it was called 1500 S
as for the part of boiling over
well you cant boil the water because it doesent have water but you can destroy the engine by overheating it

I always wondered why the Notch Back was never brought into the USA, I would think it would have out sold the Type 1

I had one of the 1600 twin carb cars.
It was awesome, in a slow motion kind of way.

the single solex carburator was a big problem for thisengine ,infact VW change the engine from 1500 to 1600,and was fitted with dual carburator that make it more efficent.

the VW 1500 is mountain-ready.
the VW 1500 has an aircooled engine, which can't boil over. (?)
the VW 1500 lies good on the street. (?)
the VW 1500 has a powerful acceleration.
the VW 1500 offers space for 5 persons.
no wonder there are so many VW 1500's..
sort of boring...eh? ;)

Being a type-3 fan, I enjoy this commercial! However, if someone could just translate it into English for us.......
