The irony is that the Christian does in part 2 what he was pretending the atheist did in part 1.

@AshMattPier09 But "Christ" means "anointed one"(Christ was anointed by the Holy Spirit for his mission of salvation);so when we call ourselves "Christians" we aren't just saying "followers of Christ: we're expressing our anointing by the same Holy Spirit that flows from His death on the Cross! We're "little Christs" to the world, images of him spreading the Gospel by how we live (I hope!) and speak. As members of his Body, we're also "anointed ones" in the Holy Spirit, by the Father, from Christ.

I'm a Christian but I totally disagree with this video. First of all, philosophy isn't opposed to Christianity -- and it can actually equip us better to understand our faith. It helps us learn how to argue rationally instead of circularly, which is crucial.Plus, philosophy was behind a lot of crucial developments in Christian theology (like the doctrine of the Trinity or Christ as fully God and fully man).God gave us intellects for a reason.Read some Augustine of Hippo...Church Father, that one!

@meghansav There are two parts to the laws of the Torah, moral law and sacrificial law. The first define sins and their punishments. The second are the specific procedures for repenting of those sins, when and how to make sacrifices in the temple. Jesus claimed that he had come to fulfill the sacrificial law, so that no more sacrifices would be needed. But he clearly stated that the moral law must be upheld. This includes atrocious things like being sentenced to death for working on the sabbath.

@meghansav “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven... Matthew 5:17-19

I think "Christian" should be renamed "Christ Follower"

Excellent message. Don't bother reading those other books, you won't understand them anyway! It was also excellent the way they portrayed the non-christian as a wanabe intellectual, because that is the truth. If your thoughts haven't led you to Christ, just how intellectual can you actually be? Theres 2 types of people in this world. Christians, and self loathing dullards!

Very good video with an intense message. Those who have an ear, listen to what GOD is saying!
Being a CHRISTIAN is about a RELATIONSHIP with GOD ALMIGHTY. Many so called christians are hooked into the ritual of going to a church building for 2-4 hours a week making a quick prayer which DO NOT reach the ceiling of the church and then going home to continue with their unrepented sinful life.
Jesus Christ died and lives FOREVER to restore the broken relationship between GOD and MAN. Amen!

... lol what a sad thing.
don't try to learn about all the world has to offer, just read one book and your set!
wow.
Yay! I don't have to think anymore? Yayyyyyy *starts to drool on the carpet* Terrorists do the very same thing, perhaps if they thought about their lives for a moment they couldn't blow themselves up, but of course that would require *gasp* questioning things.

I hate how the Christian in this video is shown as the guy who has his whole life figured out, and doesn't have anything to worry about...
If anything Christians are the ones with the problems... why else do we seek Christ? if we had a perfect life I don't think we would see the need for Christ, you know?
