Working with and living my own values is also important to me. And, as you infer, just because they are your core values doesn't mean you're consistently good at them! Also, what you mean by that phrase will be unique to you. My personal mission is to bring happiness, well-being, practicality and love into everything I do. Underlying these values are other values which contribute to my core values e.g. under 'love' are things like respect, authenticity and mindfulness.
