That is nowhere near 750 thousand volumes unless he has an underground vault, but it is sure one damned fascinating operation. Reminds me of the man in a Czech novel called Too Loud A Solitude by Hrabel.

its a pity that he isnt there anymore. i had purchased a lot of college books from him(advanced mathematics books). it was queer that he would know exactly where to find the book, if present, and he would go and fetch it right away. If he said he dint have the book, you could be rest assured that he dint. He knew his trade.
