Mel C. Thompson in character as OFFICER MUSHROOM, former KMEL radio personality and one of the original Nerd Core rappers. This song was primarily recorded at the home studio of Grande Microscopic, an eclectic guitarist and sound sculptor who, preferring anonymity, peeled off the licks and mastered the original recording. After the song was played on the air at KMEL, Grande Microscopic retreated from public view. However, he is immortalized by the hot solo that forms the refrain of this geeky song. This is only one of two Officer Mushroom songs that have credit coauthors.
