The composition contains mostly dissonance with a brief section of consonance. I was suprised to discover that many people enjoyed my videos on atonality on my old site. So i am now putting them up on my new site here.

  • Wow. This has a lot of flavors despite being atonal, which is good of course. Mission accomplished!

  • @AuningProductions Thanks for your nice comment on my music. Peace.

  • Great piece. Have you played much Brouwer and Philliph Houghton?

  • @TheBenMurrie I have listened to Brouwer and that is probably where the idea came from in this piece to go from atonality dissonance to consonance. I can't remember the piece i heard Sharon Isben play long ago but it did go from discord to serenity. Glad you like my composition.

  • Kudos on composing an atonal piece, but I can't seem to enjoy it. I can't really explain it.

  • great! love how this progresses.

  • In some points it reminds me of Tom Jobim.

    Greetings from Brazil.

  • Is Atonal Marimba by Jacob Preston a tonal or atonal piece?
