I wouldn't say 'nothing,' that is pure ignorance. Mariah's voice is beauty itself, but as we know, with Mariah and others (e.g., Callas, Whitney, etc.), beauty fades, the ease of it, to reach that beauty. Mariah is the voice (in what a voice is--an instrument) of our time, and singers aspire to capture her sound, which I think is foolish. Whitney Houston is the singer of our time, for all that a singer is and can be. If you say Whitney has the soul, Mariah is the spirit.
