Also, i'd like to add to this, as it confirms for me something i've thought all along. It had to be this way because the last 5 chapters in the book of Daniel has been re-arranged at some point in time. The right way to re-arrange them is 8, 9/11, 10/12. 9 & 11 is one continuous thought as 10 and 12. When Daniel's prophecy gets read that way, THE RIGHT WAY, everything becomes crystal clear because the story never breaks in 10/12 like one would assume.

@2080rwolfe This is a very good video, and has confirmed my thoughts other than that one minor glitch on this response... Jesus was speaking of a "future" Abomination of Desolation, yet to happen, that's why he was saying "when ye therefore shall see" He couldn't have been talking about past tense like in the case of Antiochus E. because that happened in 167 B.C.

This 70th week according to Jesus comes in the time of the end. The Abomination of Desolation & Great Tribulation come AFTER the Gospel is preached to the whole world. There were no Abomination of Desolation or Great Tribulation when Jesus died on the cross. "He" in Dan.9:27 is the Antichrist who will stop the daily sacrifice & place the Abomination of Desolation in the holy place of the Temple at the time of Jesus' Coming & the End of the World, Dan.11:27-31, Mt.24:3.
The Abomination of Desolation took place in the time of Antiochus Ephihanes. The Great Tribulation, according to Matthew 24, happens after the people of God are taken out of the world. Thanks for the comment.
