hey guys!

my friend rachel thibodeau (www.myspace.com/rachelthibodeau) came out to london to write some songs with me. this is one of them!

i don't know who will end up singing this song - it's quite different from the stuff i play at my shows - but i wanted to show you another part of what i do when i write songs for other artists and for movies. i love writing all kinds of music, and i'm really thrilled to have this opportunity to write with rachel, one of the most talented writers i've ever met!

the song is called 'too far gone.'

OH! and i show you the chords for 'jenny' at the end of the video, too. forgot to mention that! and guys - when i say something about 'a song being just a song' or whatever it is that i say - what i mean at that moment is that it's not so important how you play the chords - whether in a more complicated or simple way - because i used to play it in a more complicated way but showed you the more simple way because it's easier to play it that way, and the song is just about the song at the end of the day - to me, with my music at least, it's all about the words and melody when you strip away more difficult chords - it's just a song - that's what i meant!!! not trying to take away the power of a song, not trying to make it seem insignificant....ah...communication can be so difficult sometimes!
