Just testing out some of the bluesy/r&b kinda tones from my Vox. I'm playing an Epiphone Les Paul custom straight in, no effects. I'm plugged in to the normal channel with the input gain around 11 o'clock.

  • Nice Vid,nice music! What's the name of the first song?

  • @ankeyao The first song was Slow Dancing in a Burning Room by John Mayer...its not really totally how the song goes, I was just messing around with the main progression. Thanks for the comments!

  • Hey. Which amp do you think is louder? vox ac30vr or this one

  • @DROWN1995 I've never played the AC30VR so its hard to say.I will say this little thing can get pretty darn loud. A lot of people are scared away from buying because its only 15 watts, but for me I find it is plenty loud enough. It does lack a bit in clean headroom, but I don't ever need a totally crystal clean tone at high volumes so it works well for me.

  • I love this amp. Only wandering about the volume though. Even though You would have to mic it live, using it as your monitor, it's not that loud with a full band.

  • @IGilkie I don't find the volume to be an issue unless you like REALLY loud and SUPER clean amps. I like to keep it set with a little bit of grit so it cleans up when I back off my guitar a bit. Works really well for me. This amp can actually get pretty loud, especially if you want a big overdriven tone.
