  • Are you playing a Triplett Eclipse. If so, what is the wood?

  • @TheCaliforniaKitty This is an Triplett Signature. The Eclipse is to big for me. It's a little sister from the Eclipse and she is made of walnut! Walnut-wood gives a warm sound!

  • Lovely.

  • Thanks Mary and a lot of harpplay in 2010!

  • special music, thanks for sharing!

  • @wiviamommyder Yes, you can find this piece in The Three Ravens book by Suzanne Guldimann. This book with 34 ballads from the 16th to the 19th centuries is arranged for lapharp is very nice and easy to play.

  • The Triplett harps have a big sound. I know what you mean, about the Eclipse. It is a big harp and the soundbox has a loud voice and long sustain. My harp is bubinga an Eclipse. I've only played since August, and am learning to play by using books You are fortunate to have found a great teacher!

  • Lovely!

  • Thanks Megansspark!
