I believe you have misinterpreted Paul's text. Paul is merely noting his way of speaking is not the most elegant. Rather, it is crude in nature. Crude does not equate to vulgar.

Now...

Ephesians 4:29 - Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Foul language would most definitely fall into this category. Let only words edifying to the spirit come from your mouth.
