  • @Jakesnake321z We stopped doing it for 40 years by which time the engineers who designed Apollo were long retired or dead. People learn from other people, and while textbooks are useful there are some things you learn only by doing. Yeah, the people of NASA did it once in '69...but then they never did it again. The people there today have to figure it out all over again.
