One of the most vicious stick swinging events ever seen at 50 sec mark.Cape Breton Regional Police had to be called and they seized the game tape for pssible criminal charges.The goaltender should have been banned for life from hockey for his vicious slash.

I've watched a ton of hockey. I've seen two players swing sticks. I've seen players go up into the stands. I've seen players stomp with their skates on other players ankles. All of it terrible. But I think this may be the worst incident I have ever seen. Stick swinging like that is just insane. And the coach encouraging his team to take the ice and brawl with the other team is pathetic.

That was a sad day for the sport.
