Video showing operation and workings of Tyco # 928 crossing. First introduced in 1969 and retired in 1982. 1969-1977 came with brass track and 1977-1982 had tru steel track. This crossing and Tyco #908 have the exact same base and trigger function which is the center wood like plastic treadle which when the train enters depresses tabs down by weight to activate.

  • Thank you Watchnu2 for letting me know. Alot of the crossing gates made by various HO manufacturers were mechanical too!
