My opinion on the game, otherwise known as politics. Subsequently, nothing ever changes.

  • This is more reason to say this... Ron Paul 2012!

  • Bar writing off lawyers. Who's going to help you when you get into some sort of legal trouble. Fuck your stereotyping!

  • i couldn't agree more

  • @tifforo1 >>>>>>> It seems to me that the first goal of capitalism is to convince people that capitalism is the best system for everyone when realistically it is only the best system for the people at the top. Think about the U.S. economy as it stands right now. Everybody but the capitalist pigs are suffering. You have a president that wants to force people to pay into the most corrupt (next to politics)industry out there, medical insurance. All of the politicians must be stockholders in AIG.

  • @tifforo1 , I actually used to be one of the stupid Americans, until I started to think for myself, and I'm ashamed to say that it took me quite a while. I was so used to accepting other people's explanations for why things are the way they are, then one day I just decided they were wrong. I decided that this government doesn't work because there is a group of rich that run the country and the government, and if something doesn't benefit them, it isn't going to happen. >>>>>>>>

"I've never met a teal person, but I don't want to because all teal people are prejudiced." That's what you sound like.

Okay, the part about spending may be an overstatement. The rate of growth of government spending has varied over time, but hasn't really been strongly correlated with whether Democrats or Republicans have been in office.

Still, you can't say that the same changes to the health insurance system would have been made if Republicans had been in charge during 2009-2010.

  • The idea that there is no difference between the parties has always struck me as overly cynnical. We've consistently seen different tax policies, aims regarding health insurance, and overall willingness to raise nondefense spending programs at the national level.

  • Americans are stupid. They started being brainwashed when they were a sperm. They only know how to do what they are told. They are not capable of thinking!

  • Very insightful, my friend...
