errrr... don't get me wrong, I think it's an honorable attempt at public awareness. However, isn't standing in the middle of the street reading something is one of many sure ways to get hit by a car?

This is just one more pointless iniciative. Not to mention @qwerty0172 (who seems to put to jaywalk in some crime category), but what is the purpose of warn pedestrians of dangers of crossing the streets? What about tell that to CAR DRIVERS for sake, whose reckless attitude is the sole cause of the problem?

I think the idea is a bit of a silly one, you are trying to raise pedestrians awareness of being safe with roads, But by doing that you are distracting them from crossing the road! Most ppl are more bothered about the writing rather then the cars approaching there.

As long as none of the names were jaywalkers, cool idea. Memorials are good when they raise awareness about something but not when it's about people who killed themselves by their own stupidity.
