It's not that people are offended...just trying to educate folks that a .223 suppressor is NOT the hush puppy the movies, TV and video games play it up to be.

Most of the responses are from shooters who OWN one or have shot one...not seen it on a tv show or in a game.

Or don't be a pussy B. Go watch FPSrussia. He doesn't use any suppressors or ear protection while he is shooting outside. I know nothing about guns besides that if you are outside, you don't really need ear protection for almost any weapon

Full auto will not kill you any quicker than a .22 to the back of the head. All NFA owners (machine gun, sbr, suppressors) must pass a through background and be approved by ATFE.

I never really collected machine guns until May 19, 1986....there will be no MORE.

@cbmizzlex123 A supressed weapon still makes a very loud noise, do to the projectile going supersonic, which can also dammage hearing. An unsupressed weapon makes about 140 decibels of noise when shot. hearing damage can accur way before that.

@cbmizzlex123 You are wrong. Anything really over a .22 (I've shot and they push the limit) is crucial to wear ear protection, because the amount of decibels can permanently damage your eardrum. So yes, you do need ear protection for almost any weapon. The purpose of the video is to show how an M16 sounds with a silencer, he's not using it to make it quieter for his comfort. FPSrussia also has paramedics and officers around when he does his videos, so they supervise him.
