A very dear friend of mine, Traci, had a battle with this disease last year, defiantly beating the odds, and she is now healthy and in remission. Her middle name is Renee, which in French means "reborn". This is so fitting of her lively spirit and passion for living. I know she will have a very long, healthy, and happy life.

Let's all pray that this horrible illness may be cured in our liftime.

Thank you for this song!!! It is so touching. I am Team Recruitment chair for our East Lee Co-FL Relay for next year.  Is there a chance to get a copy of the lyrics? I would love to have us all sing the song at our Relay. My dad died in 1989 before we ever knew about Relay where I grew up in MD. He didn't even have Hospice then either. We have lost so many others since then. My husband had melanoma but is 6 yrs cancer free!
