March over to http://www.monster-hobbies.com - macht schnell!

This quick video was made at 3:am and contains a few "Late Night" mistakes.

This set consists of 3 boxes of MPC figures. I bought these in 1985 when I was 11 years old and my Dad and I built the wooden A7V tank.

I didn't finish painting the figures until June 30th, 2011.

There are 144 pieces and in 26 years, I have only lost 4. The 2 machine gunners, 1 dead soilder, and 1 Maxim Machine Gun.

As of yet, I still need to paint the bases of the figures, but I am unsure how to mount them - for a wargame in groups of 2 or to leave them as individuals.

These will go in an upcoming display at the High River Library.

(The horses are from some other HO scale train set.)

  • Cool I have loads of ww1 1/72 models I have started to paint them because of this video and did it take you that long because you didn't do much or did you realy take 26 years to paint theses

  • @jakeoo32 I bought them and painted a few in 1985, and then they sat in the basement for at least 10 years and I painted the rest in grey primer. Another 16 years later, I finished the models. These guys were not a top priority.

  • Are the figures hand painted by You?or did they come like that

  • @CreeperFaceGaming They come molded in grey-blue plastic. I hand painted all their details.

  • @CreeperFaceGaming They come molded in grey-blue plastic. I had to paint them myself.

  • Nice I have the same kit but I did some different details as you did for example I didn't paint parts of the hat gold but what I've done which you should too is to stick grass onto their base. Citadel as good kind of grass instead of painting the base. Believe me it would look so much better with grass.

  • great idea covering the dead figures with blood really life like

  • @clonesdisasters Yes! My Dad and I made it from wood and cardboard in 1985. At the time, we had just a few front 3/4 photos of it from a WW1 book my Grandma made from old Time Life News magazines. That's why the back end looks like a boat. We had to "guess" the shape.

  • can u please name the sets for me that will be apreashiated
