Oh, yeah. It was an upscale "fashion mall" as long as the Baltimore areas wealthy Jews shopped there as it was really intended for them. Come on! A Saks Fifth Avenue? Yes, it was there. I was at that grand opening at the age of 19. Anyway, what killed the mall was the easy access granted to poor underclass (and uncivilized) blacks from Baltimore's worst neighborhoods riding up on the subway that provided inner-city access in 1990. Crime then came and people starting dying and the rich Jews fled.
