While I love every song by Burdon, he just screams the lyric. But my comment is, this songs is great. What a riff. This is when Eric Burdon and his band was at their best.

Vic Briggs was the most versatile guitarist in Eric's career. During an argument,
Eric fired him in 7/68, effectively ending creative new music recording. Animals
announced they were disbanding three months later. Our loss.

B-side to San Franciscan Nights in 1967 in the UK. In the US "Good Times" was the b-side to "SF Nights". So Good Times was it's own hit in the UK.
Gratefully Dead is very special. Great song...
