This is a collection of photos and quotes from the legendary Br. Ruhl. The world has lost a great mind, and Saint Viator has lost the best teacher ever.
I haven't thought about my years at St. Viator for a LONG time. But I can't believe I didn't find out about his passing until now. For as as much of a pain he was to me (in my eyes back then), I really did learn a lot from him.
From dodging the bouncing tennis balls to keep a dozing student awake to his anecdotes about the pinkos and cooking with gas, much to the chagrin of commonwealth edison, this former student of his will miss him.

When Br. Ruhl was in high school he played Charles F. Maude in Bye Bye Birdie. He talked about it all the time last year.
