This was done a looooong time ago pretty near the original Halo release date. Gamespy offered this thing called XBox Tunnel that allowed you to connect with other people around the world doing System Link. There was also XBox Connect but I hardly used that. And there was a way to get up there using that ghost while you were driving. You had to strafe with it up the mountain at a certain point.

how did you get all the people in ur party without split screen and how did you get in the tanks when they were up there?
