An open letter from Maurice Ostroff To the B'Tselem press officer in response to her complaint that I unfairly criticized B'tselem's statistics during my interview with Yediot Aharonot April 15, 2011 Dear Sarit Michaeli I refer to our previous correspondence initiated by your criticism of a statement I made in my recent interview with Yedioth Ahronoth during which I said that B探selem classifies Palestinian rocket launchers who were killed outside of combat as civilians. For example, I am concerned that inaccurate statistics about casualty figures sustained during the Cast Lead operation that you provided to the Goldstone Mission, misled the mission and caused a great deal of unjustified criticism of, and harm to Israel.
