TAKE A FRESH HARD DRIVE AND FORMAT IT FOR Wii GAMES
1. Download and Install WBFS Manager 3.0
http://wbfsmanager.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=26808
2. Make sure you backup any data on the HDD before you format it!
3. Take note of the Drive letter of this hard drive (F:)
4. Open WBFS Manager and select the drive letter of your HDD - select FORMAT

ADD A GAME TO YOUR WII HARD DRIVE
1. Plug in the hard drive you are using for the Wii (F:) NEVER FORMAT!!!!
2. Run WBFS manager
3. Load the drive in WBFS (F:)
4. Drag the image (.iso file) of the wii game onto the right hand box and click ADD TO DRIVE
5. To extract an image, right click on the file and select EXTRACT ISO
6. To get a list of the games on your drive, right click and select EXPORT LIST TO FILE

  • @lordofcheats well, if you use a different program, this video is 2 years old. use wii backup manager to create your wii hard drive. this video is very outdated

  • @lordofcheats well.... actually... if you set up a partition you can. mine has a partition for my roms, and music and movies and what not.

  • so if i format will i lost anything important just to be sure.

  • @sk8bamsk8 use wii backup manager, it can add wbfs file to driver no problem.

    or you can extract iso from .wbfs file, no problem
