It was alright. I agree with The311Junkie...the trumpet solo requires more testicular fortitude for this piece...

The clarinet section is BIG!

The conductor should have let the trumpet solo be played without being conducted except for the measure that the clarinets come in with the two bar thing at the end of each phrase. That was my conductor did in high school when I played this solo. I styled it to the song because I didn't feel rushed. Otherwise good job.

That amount of "intimacy" with his music begins to become a distraction. This isnt a clarinet solo! Maybe when it is, its oo to do that.

It was alright, and the girl sitting next to mr happy ass kinda looked like she was gonna laugh at him.

The trumpet soloist really needs to work on vibrato and recognizing the pitches in his head before he plays, I'll be uploading my band playing this soon and the solo fits in very well with the song, nice work otherwise though

girls- you should petition to get a dress for your uniform. Like, a black and white one. Do fundraises. Tuxes look strange on girls- and they do nothing for your figure. Not like your figures are bad or anything- but tuxes? ladies, come on!!
And don't bash the dancer. He was probably the most musical one out of them. No one else was into it. Not even the band director. Lame.
But you still did a pretty decent job playing it. Way to gooo

haha, for whatever reason the ladies of CHS like the tuxes. I'm not sure why, but we got those uniforms in the spring of 2006, so they're new, and getting dresses for the ladies was an option that was discussed, but it wasn't supported by a majority of the ladies of the band.
