i can only go to 1837 so far because I can't find the fathers of Lacy Buard or Locy Buard and Isom Elliot. They are both mullato and born during slavery times so I assume their fathers didn't want their identities to be known

This is really great. I'm lucky enough to have had an obsessed great grandmother who traced his and his wife's line back to 800 AD, so I'm able to focus much more easily (That has always been a problem).
So many places forget to tell you to start somewhere, this is really encouraging and has definitely helped me out. Thank you very much.
