Camillo Bargoni: 'Concerto d'Automno' (Autumn Concerto), piano solo version

The composer of this piece is a mystery to me - if anyone knows anything about him, please let me know. The song (with Italian lyrics) was published in 1956, but this published piano version closely resembles a popular recording by the Greek/Italian English-born bandleader George Melachrino (1909-65). As such, this uncredited transcription could be the work of Melachrino's arranger and featured pianist, William Hill-Bowen (1916?-1964). It is certainly a superb piano evocation of the over-the-top strings-by-starlight style adopted by some British light orchestras of the period. The song is sung also with English lyrics, and is known under the title 'And that reminds me'. It has been covered by Shirley Bassey (in Italian) and also by Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras.

He is certainly obscure. Italian Wikipedia does not have an article for him, although his name appears in the content of a couple of articles there. ASCAP lists eight compositions by him but as two of those are 'And That Reminds Me' (which is the same song) that makes only six in reality.
