SS1 - Rally Sun and Stars, Barbados - Atwell/Finlayson

Martin Atwell and Graeme Finlayson in the http://www.racedandrallied.com Mitsubishi Evo III RS Group A car.

First stage of the MCBI Sun and Stars Rally in Barbados - Canefield/Hangmans Hill.

Running old rubber and thankfully Atwell not relying too much on the notes from someone not very used to calling them!

Car eventually finished 2nd overall.

Spin cost us 8 seconds, driving slow as hell the rest of the stage another 2 seconds or so, plus another 8 on SS 2 due to driving like a granny on a broken rim, plus another 4 lost to Paul Bourne's yellow flag, plus another 5 lost on SS9 to me driving like a tosser in the night, pluse a few for missed gears and bad launches.... Equals, we could have won this rally on shite tyres if I had been properly switched on instead of driving for fun and not thinking we had a chance to beat Neil... :-(
